Damir Doma 2013 Spring/Summer Collection

Within the midst of the festivities at Paris Fashion Week, a decidedly somber aesthetic route was taken on by Damir Doma for the label’s Spring/Summer 2013 collection. Boasting the trademark affinity for loosely fitting and well layered pieces, a gloomier facade took precedence at the beginning of the show that was characterized by mostly monochromatic leather wide shorts, tonal leather rider’s jackets and leather vests. Progressing beyond the luxuriously obscure menswear installment, the show would later go on to display elements of juxtaposed red and starkly contrasted all-white outfits that, although different in color, maintained the overall dominant perspective of the forthcoming collection.
