Veranda House by Blouin Tardif Architects

Resting in the idyllic outskirts of the Quebec suburbs is the Veranda House, recently minted by Canadian firmBlouin Tardiff Architects. The single-family home is guarded by a row of trees, which only serves to underline the house’s focus on privacy and personal space. This is too underlined by the focus on materials, clay and cedar specifically, which add a protective, sturdy physical element to the design. From there, Blouin Tardiff also embraces the surrounding foliage with its transparency and large glass panels. Enjoy a tour through the house above.
