The iPhone 7 Plus May Feature a Dual Camera

Leaked photos of the forthcoming iPhone 7 continue to circulate the webosphere ahead of its official release later this year (likely in September). Earlier in the week, we premiered a video that highlighted the smartphone’s new camera design, and today we deliver a look at what may be the iPhone 7 Plus’s dual-camera setup. Appearing in three colors beneath the standard 7 version below, little is known of the Plus’s camera upgrade, or if it is a newer version dubbed the iPhone 7 Pro, but we’re definitely excited for its possible capabilities. A dual-camera system offers a number of welcomed upgrades, including improved background defocus and low-light performance.

Be sure to stay tuned, as more details will surely come to light over the next two months.

Apple's Own Jony Ive Helps Design New Brussels Store Interior

Apple’s own Jony Ive has lent a helping hand in the design of the company’s newest store, located in Brussels. The store’s guts consist of timber surfaces, natural finishes, and eight trees to complete the open-plan space. Being the chief design officer, it’s expected that the interior of Apple’s first Belgian store would be top notch. With assistance from co-designer Angela Ahrendts, the Brussels location will be open to the public on September 19.

Beats Launches Apple-Inspired Solo2 Wireless Collection

The recent acquisition of Beats by Apple Inc. has done little to change either side’s M.O., and aside from the press releases, there’s been little to outwardly proclaim this new era of electronics production. That changes today, as Beats rolls out a new collection of Solo2 Wireless headphones inspired by the flagship colors of Apple’s products. The headphones come in three different colorways – gold, silver and gunmetal grey – that perfectly match iPhones, iPads, and the recently-updated MacBook. Head to Beats’ site to cop your pair now and look for more from Beats in the coming months.

Apple Stores to Have Special Safes for Gold Apple Watches

As we’re inching closer to the purported shipping date for the Apple Watch, something we still don’t know is how much they will cost. But if this is any indication, Apple is reported to be outfitting its stores with special safes just for the smartwatches. Supposedly for the pricier gold iterations of the watch and for store-demo units, the safes will be specially designed with the Apple Watch MagSafe chargers to ensure they are powered for use. Considering the price of already existing Apple products, this special treatment could mean some serious bucks for the pricier iterations of the Apple Watches, but for that we will have to wait and see.

Apple Watch

With the Apple Watch‘s forthcoming official release, reports have surfaced detailing the latest gadget’s price points. While Apple has announced three versions of the watch in addition to a variety of preferential configurations, the stainless steel Apple Watch variation will start at $500 USD while a luxury 18K gold model will cost up to $4K USD. In response to the prices, the tech giant is planning to not only showcase the device’s smartwatch functions but also position the watches as modern luxury timepieces, effectively becoming one of the first movers into the wearable technology sphere, allowing the tech giant to charge a premium price for the newest and most innovative piece of technology to date. Stay tuned for the official release of the Apple Watch in Spring 2015.
