Bentley Grand Convertible

Bentley lengthens its legacy just in time for the Los Angeles Auto Show as the heritage automaker unveils theGrand Convertible for a possible 2015 release. Interesting that a car intended to “signify Bentley’s intentions for the future” would so closely reference the Mulsanne – one of the brand’s longstanding flagship models. The Grand Convertible adds a sportier, perhaps more laid-back air to this legacy, coming with a droptop that gaudily bares the car’s Beluga leather and burl walnut veneer interior. Underneath the hood, the Grand Converible boasts a 6.75 liter, 530 horsepower engine, making it not only a sophisticated ride, but an enticingly powerful one as well.

2015 Ford Mustang Shelby GT350

Ford returns with an updated version of its iconic Shelby GT350 Mustang. Originally introduced in 1965, the latest model is the most powerful Ford production car ever, boasting a 5.2L V8 engine which pumps out 500hp and 400 lb-ft of torque. A new dynamic “MagnaRide”suspension system reads the road and optimizes handling and responsiveness ensuring that the six-generation model can tackle even the most challenging of roads. Porsche 911 Carrera GTS 2015

With Porsche‘s decision to reduce the wait time between the release of its coveted 911 variants — the past 911 model (internally referred to as the 997 and spanning from 2004 – 2013) took almost a decade to realize all versions including the 911 Carrera, 911 Turbo, 911 GT3 and Cabriolet equivalents  – the German automotive manufacturer heads to the city of Berlin to give us a look at how this track-proven sports car performs on the streets. Positioned between the 911 Carrera S and GT3 model, the new 2015 Porsche 911 (991) Carrera GTS boasts a rear that is 44 mm wider than the Carrera S and sits up to 20 mm lower on a stiffer Active Suspension Management system (PASM). It includes increased stopping power via its six-piston calipers at the front and four-piston calipers at the rear.

Italian motorcycle maker Ducati debuts the Diavel Titanium at this year’s EICMA show in Milan. Representing the brand’s latest addition to the Diavel family, the limited edition Ducati Diavel Titanium features a dynamic composite exterior formulated from lightweight titanium and carbon fiber, combining high-quality craftsmanship with top-notch materials. Kitted with a 162 HP producing Ducati Testastretta 11° DS engine, the bike also boasts sport, touring, and urban ride modes for a balanced and functional riding experience. Jaguar F-Type Debut

Jaguar is set to unveil the first all-wheel-drive F-Type Coupe at the 2014 LA show later this month. Boasting a 0-60 in 3.9 seconds with a top speed of 186 mph, the all new F-Type coupe combines top-notch speed capabilities with optimal performance drivability, highlighted by its all-wheel-drive technology and Intelligent Driveline Dynamics stability control. A sleek aerodynamic exterior complements the full rear build as a 5-liter V8 launches the F-Type coupe to the tune of 550 horsepower and 502 lb-ft of torque. Look for the 2016 Jaguar AWD F-Type R to debut at the Los Angeles Auto Show on November 21.

2015 Porsche Cayenne GTS

Porsche has unveiled its 2015 version of the Cayenne GTS model, ahead of its debut at the Los Angeles Auto Show. The GTS version of the SUV features a new sports design package with extended wheel arches and updated side skirts, in addition to a sports exhaust system and Porsche’s Active Suspension Management system. The upgrades to the car’s interior are rather limited but it doesn’t take away from the immense power provided by the twin-turbo 3.6-liter V6 engine that helps accelerate the Cayenne from 0-100 km/h in a mere 5.2 seconds, while reaching top speeds at around 262 km/h. BMW X5 M and X6 M 2016

BMW introduces the second generation of the X5 M and X6 M with an all-new 2016 update. Each powered with a 4.4L V8 engine and boasting a 0-60 time of four seconds, the high-performance M duo launches to the tune of 567 HP while featuring a 10% increase in torque at 553 pound-feet. Improved exterior modifications to the cars include large front-end air intakes, side gills, M-detailed exterior mirrors and four-pipe exhaust, a rear spoiler for the X6, and 21-inch premium wheels. Some of the many interior improvements involve an xDrive all-wheel-drive system, Dynamic Stability Control, and a new eight-speed Steptronic transmission with paddle shifts, combining top performance driving capabilities with a refined supercharged M engine package. Slated to hit showrooms in 2015, the 2016 X5 M will be priced at $99,650 USD and the X6 M at $103,050 USD. Stay tuned for an official release at select BMW dealerships in the near future.

1965 Shelby 289 Cobra Alloy

Vintage cars are sure to turn heads around wherever they are and this 1965 Shelby 289 Cobra Alloy is certainly no exception. Outfitted with a polished aluminum body, the car was originally purchased by the legendary automotive designer and racing driver Carroll Shelby himself to add to his collection of cars. The car is in pristine condition and only has 56 original miles on the odometer as it has been garage kept and preserved in almost new condition. Outfitted with an upgraded 427 cubic-inch V-8 engine that can pump out 525 horsepower, the 1965 Shelby 289 Cobra Alloy will be auctioned off on November 15. Harley-Davidson Dyna “Urban Cavalry”

Commissioned by Harley-Davidson Taiwan, premium custom bike manufacturer Rough Crafts reimagines the Dyna Street Bob bobber into the “Urban Cavalry” motorcycle. With performance the main objective, Rough Crafts’ Winston Yeh chose to advance this particular model with a new front-end kit and forks, an aluminum swingarm from Roaring Toyz and a BDL open belt drive to reduce weight, a redesigned titanium exhaust system, and custom-made dark metal composite rotors that connect to six-piston calipers for a better brake system. With that said, it’s without a doubt the exterior that grabs the attention of onlookers, as it features a narrow tank, a superbike-inspired tail unit, a quilted black leather saddle, and of course the mostly matte black makeup supplies a Blade Runner-like aesthetic. Harley fan or not, this is a mean bike.

Aston Martin Virage Shooting Brake Zagato

In celebration of its 95th birthday, Italian automotive design house Zagato unveiled its latest creation in partnership with Aston Martin. Debuting at the Chantilly Art & Elegance show in France, the concept takes up a shooting brake body style and bears similarities to last year’s DBS Coupé Zagato Centennial, with its long rectangular back and signature grille. Purely as a one-off, this unique variant was custom built and will make its way to the home of a European collector after its showing.

Porsche Exclusive Agate Grey Cayman S

The Porsche Exclusive team of customizers came through this Monday to unveil the special edition Agate Grey Cayman S. In using the rear-engine sports coupe as a base, this Cayman S is dipped in a clean agate grey metallic paint job, then contrasted with yellow brake calipers and 20-inch glossy black wheels. While the interior follows the same color scheme with carbon fiber details throughout, additional upgrades include a lowered ride of about 20mm, a sports exhaust system, and smoked-out lights. We should also mention the Agate Grey Cayman S features the same 3.4-liter flat six engine with a top speed of 176 mph and a 0-62mph time of 4.7 seconds.

Rolls-Royce Wraith 2014

British automaker Rolls-Royce is set to add the latest in its illustrious line of Wraith models with the 2014 edition finally hitting roads. The car holds the torch strong by streamlining the additional fastback silhouette, which surely aids the car’s blistering 4.4-second 0-60 acceleration time. The car runs on a 6.6 liter V12 engine, tucked away behind a recessed vertical grill and the company’s signature ‘Spirit of Ecstasy’ ornament. Coach doors open up to reveal a lofty inner cabin, outfitted with supple leather seating and wool carpeting. Rolls-Royce even offers buyers the option to outfit their Wraith cabin with star-like skylights. 

2016 Jaguar XE

With large sedans and luxury sports cars its forte, delivering an exciting compact sedan seems to always escape longstanding automaker Jaguar. Its last attempt, the X-Type, was discontinued back in 2009. Introduce the XE however, a rear-wheel drive, four-door sedan that barrows design elements from its siblings. Boasting a 3.0-liter, supercharged V6 engine, this ‘not-your-average-family-car’ reaches 60 miles per hour in as fast as 4.9 seconds with a top speed of 155 mph. Unfortunately however, the Jaguar XE won’t be available stateside until 2016.

Luxury French bike manufacturer Midual is set to unveil the Midual Type 1 Motorcycle estimated at a cost of $185,000 USD. Considering the hefty price tag, the Type 1 boasts a twin engine format with an array of customizable options, including over 45 types of leather, 25 casting treatments, and a bevy of modifications to the engine itself. With only 35 bikes planned to be produced and individually numbered, one will be hard-pressed to come across a Midual Type 1 as the first wave is set to be introduced at London’s Salon Privé.

 

Jaguar Classic Mark 2

Styling basically every Jaguar car since the mid ’00s has its rewards and Ian Callum enjoys them by being able to get any model he desires. For his newest automobile, he decided to reach back into Jaguar’s illustrious history and thus he has commissioned a custom, rest0mod jaguar Mark 2. Designed by Callum himself and built by Classic Motor Cars in Shropshire, England, the car boasts a 4.3-liter engine, which has been pilfered and modified to pair with a five-speed manual transmission. The suspension has also been altered to result in a ride that sits 1.18 inches closer to the ground along with a new power steering system.

Callum had this to say about his latest endeavour, ”This is a very personal statement. A long held notion that, although the Mark 2 has always been a beautiful car, it could be even more exciting in shape and performance. Whilst maintaining the purity of the car’s form, I wanted to add a number of modern twists to the design. Simplification and clarity was my objective.”

Volvo XC90

Volvo has unveiled the 2015 XC90, after twelve years of development since the first model’s release back in 2002. The standard XC90 offers a 2.0 liter turbocharged and supercharged engine with all-wheel driving that generates 316 horsepower. Customers can also upgrade Twin Engine plug-in hybrid add-on, which produces an astonishing 400 horsepower, for a more powerful and greener ride.

The exterior styling has received a modern update yet remains familiar up front, whereas the interior has undergone a complete makeover — replacing cluttered buttons on the dashboard with an infotainment touchscreen as the centerpiece. Swathes of leather and wood implement an element of luxury to the design with handcrafted details like the crystal-glass gear level and diamond cut designs for the starter button and volume controls. The exclusive vehicle will be available for pre-order starting September 3rd and is due for release in early Spring next year.

“Ettore Bugatti” Edition

Bugatti has now revealed the final special edition Veyron from its “Les Légendes de Bugatti” series. Paying homage to founder Ettore Bugatti, the “Ettore” Veyron Grande features a stunning combination of polished aluminum and navy carbon fiber across the purposeful exterior. Similarly, the cockpit is clad in the same blue carbon fiber and two types of rich leather, along with several plaques and emblems to signify the car’s special status. Just three of these incredible cars will be built, each priced at €2.35 million EUR. The “Ettore Bugatti” will be presented along with the rest of the “Les Légendes de Bugatti” series at this year’s Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance
